Collection: Easter Pairings!

Sarah's Recommendations!

Ham:
  • Malagousia - Gerovassiliou 2022: This is such a delicious white wine from Greece and has obvious flavors of orange blossom and peaches that gives it enough body to go great with a salty or smokey ham. For the same reason most rieslings will go great with ham.
  • Domo Arigato - Field Recordings: This skin contact pinot grigio will go great with ham since it is bursting with flavors of ripe strawberries.
  • Pinot Noir - basically all pinot noirs work well with ham, plenty to pick from! Don't forget our German Pinot Noirs!
Lamb:
  • Cremant de Bourgogne Rose - Albert Bichot NV: This is also just generally a great wine to sip at throughout the holiday. Better with more delicately flavored lamb dishes.
  • Cote Rotie - Saint Cosme 2021: Syrah based wines (and Grenache Mourvèdre Syrah blends like other cote du rhone wines) go great with lamb, this one is a special bottle that should definitely be enjoyed by someone this weekend.
  • Rioja Crianza - Bodegas Bagordi: Tempranillo is another good option for lamb, this one is a great value.
Fish:
  • Aedes Etna Bianco - I Custodi 2022: From sicily - the land of fish and citrus, so it will pair great with citrusy fish dishes, salmon, or any white fish.
  • Etna Bianco - Palmento Costanzo 2021: For the same reason!
  • Nerocapitano Frappato - Lamoresca 2022: Frappato is one of the few reds that go great with fish bc it's so low in tannin. Also from Sicily.
