This historic estate, managed by the legendary and larger than life Bernd Philippi for the last decades and now with the assistance of cellarmaster Dominik Sona, is undoubtedly one of the top estates in the Pfalz. Native yeast fermentation and large neutral french oak aging makes this a distinctly elegant Pinot Noir. These are old style wines from an estate making trocken wines before it was trendy - the wines age well and are really best after a few years.
