Refund policy
Once the shipping option has been submitted, The Local cannot refund the shipping fee.
Once a package is in transit with our shipping courier, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.
Packages are shipped weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. We reserve the right to hold onto shipments during times of extreme heat or extreme cold to avoid damaging the wine & beer.
Wine & beer is not eligible for returns. For merchandise, we are happy to help you out with returns and exchanges made within 30 days of order receipt--but please be aware that the customer is responsible for all additional costs of shipping (back to us & back to you) that returns and exchanges may incur.
Accepted returns / exchanges must be processed within 30 days of order receipt and be in their original unwashed and unworn condition to qualify. We do not change a restocking fee. In the case of merchandise that arrives damaged or defective, we're always happy to make things right at no additional cost to you.
There are no returns / exchanges on sale items unless the item arrives damaged or defective. Sorry, no exceptions.
Customers must contact The Local: Wine & Beer within 24 hours of delivery if any product in the package is damaged at the time of delivery. We cannot guarantee a refund or exchange of products that are damaged due to circumstances outside of our control. Submit any claims by email only to info@thelocalvt.com. Claims cannot be submitted via phone.
