SHIPPING POLICY

We Ship Wine & Beer To The Following States:

Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Wyoming

We cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses.

Shipping Costs:

Shipping of wine and beer is priced by the case with a case being defined as 12 bottles of wine or 24 cans of beer. If you would like to order LESS than one case or MORE than 3 cases, please contact us at info@thelocalvt.com for a customized shipping quote. All wine & beer are shipped via FedEx with pricing for each available state listed below:

Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington D.C. & West Virginia = $50/case wine or beer

Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota = $55/case of wine, $55/case of beer

Colorado, Florida, Texas, Wyoming = $65/case of wine, $65/case of beer

Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington = $75/case of wine, $70/case of beer

California = $80/case of wine, $75/case of beer

We wish we could charge less, but these prices just barely cover what FedEx charges us + the cost of shipping materials. 

Once the shipping option has been submitted, The Local cannot refund the shipping fee.

Once a package is in transit with our shipping courier, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.

Packages are shipped weekly on Wednesdays. We reserve the right to hold onto shipments during times of extreme heat or extreme cold to avoid damaging the wine & beer.

Only merchandise is eligible for return. For merchandise, we are happy to help you out with returns and exchanges made within 30 days of order receipt--but please be aware that the customer is responsible for all additional costs of shipping (back to us & back to you) that returns and exchanges may incur.

Accepted returns / exchanges must be processed within 30 days of order receipt and be in their original unwashed and unworn condition to qualify.  We do not change a restocking fee.  In the case of merchandise that arrives damaged or defective, we're always happy to make things right at no additional cost to you.

There are no returns / exchanges on sale items unless the item arrives damaged or defective.  Sorry, no exceptions.

Customers must contact The Local: Wine & Beer within 24 hours of delivery if any product in the package is damaged at the time of delivery. We cannot guarantee a refund or exchange of products that are damaged due to circumstances outside of our control. Submit any claims by email only to info@thelocalvt.com. Claims cannot be submitted via phone.
