From the winemaker: "Wild Child is back! In 2022 we had lots of dampness during harvest, so we picked quickly and furiously and actually put all of our Marquette from the vintage into this sparkling beauty and the Prism below. A similar blend to the 2020 (70% Frontenac Noir and 30% Marquette), but will a nice drought summer and harder pruning in the vineyard, the fruit was a little riper and juicier. Don’t worry, it still has the racy acidity that Wild Child SHOULD, it’s just a little fruitier. Dry, PetNat style, disgorged and in clear bottles so you can see that dark rosé color. Disgorging is happening now, so appreciate your patience getting this to you... Delicious with oysters and seafood, but also really accentuates washed rind and ash-covered cheeses beautifully."
