A blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Viognier, Chardonnay, Muller-Thurgau, & Gewurztraminer from the Willamette Valley, Oregon.
Pinot grapes reign supreme at Annie Amie Vineyards in the Willamette Valley of Oregon but like many vineyards, they experiment with other varietals synonymous with old world countries. Hen of the Wood restaurant in Waterbury and Burlington have contracted an arrangement to have their house wine crafted by this iconic vineyard!
The white blend is a smorgasbord of varietals- Riesling, Chardonnay, Viognier, Gewurtztraminer, and Muller Thurgau, and a bit of Pinot Blanc!
As you would expect from a house wine used by the Hen of the Wood, the wine is incredibly food friendly and pairs up with a variety of multiple flavor dishes. Refreshing with a slight frizzante, there are citrus notes underlying big stone fruit flavors and a core of fresh and zesty minerality.
