100% Pinot Bianco from Südtirol - Alto Adige, Italy.

Castelfeder Winery was established over 50 years ago by Alfons Grovanett in the South Tyrol DOC of the Alto Adige region in northern Italy. Today, his son Gunther is the winemaker & has upgraded every aspect of the operation. They work 65 hectares, 70% of which are devoted to white grapes, as pinot Bianco is one of the most important varietals of this region. 

Vom Stein refers to the stony Dolomites soil of the vineyards that give their wines elegance & balanced structure. The wine has a lively style with a bit of heft in the body. Bursting with ripe apple, yellow fruit, & high toned floral aromatics & flavors, the wine has a focused & harmonious finish!
