80% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache, & 10% Cinsault from Bandol in Provence, France. Organic.
Domaine de Terrebrune is led by the mastery of winemaker Reynaldo Delille. He's created another unique interpretation of Bandol’s premier grape -- Mourvèdre.
The estate is located between the Mediterranean Sea and a mountain called Gros-Cerveau (big brain!). It is here that the estate’s 30 hectares of younger vineyards provide a wine that runs against Bandol’s notorious penchant for creating burly wines with grippy tannins.
The blend of 80% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache, & 10% Cinsault are sourced from young vines and a short stay in neutral foudres. There’s an ethereal freshness & vibrancy here along with a vivid purple color and flavors of pressed wild berries, cranberries, earth, tobacco, & leather.
Is it a very chillable, lower alcohol & fruit driven red or a burly Bandol rosé? You decide!
