Once again we get a primer on unique and rare grape varieties. Inspired by the wines of the French Alps, the wine is a mineral rich and lean blend of Trousseau Noir, Gamay, Cabernet Pfeffer, & Poulsard! The grapes are sourced from a variety of risk taking low yield vineyards in Northern California.
The grapes are fermented separately and goes through partial carbonic maceration to achieve brightness. The whole clusters add complex spicy aromas to the cranberry and earthy flavors. This “outre vin” reflects California’s wine pastiche at it’s very finest!
