This winery in Tuscany biodynamically farms only indigenous varietals, focusing on the art of “nothing added, nothing taken away”. This means no sulfites and no yeast are added, and no removal of any sediments. Libello is a blend of the popular Sangiovese grape (famous for its use in Chianti wines), Ciliegiolo, and Foglia Tonda. The latter are two lesser known indigenous grapes once thought lost to history. This wine is young, bright and fresh, full of raspberry and strawberry notes.
