Maurico Ruiz Cantù has been on a long and illustrious winemaking journey that spans gigs in Spain, Mexico, and ultimately Australia.

Somos means "we are" in Spanish, alluding to the sense of community collaboration, both  locally and globally. Maurico’s blend reflects this sense of community by sourcing the fruit for this wine from small select parcels from  multiple regions in Australia using different wine making techniques.

The blend of Grenache, Touriga Nacional, Tinto Cao, Carignan, and Cinsault - a sort of Southern France meets Portugal concoction - works wonderfully with blueberries and cherries accented by some spicy, herbal complexity on the nose, a medium to full bodied palate, and ripe, creamy textured finish. Pure vibrancy in a glass, this wine is meant for easy enjoyment but it’s one serious little red!
