30% Syrah, 25% Carignan, 20% Mouvedre 15% Cinsault, 10% Grenache from the Languedoc region in southern France. "Cal Demoura" means "one must remain" in Occitan, an ancient native language of southern France. When most farmers left the Languedoc region in the 1970s due to a poor economy the proprietor of the estate, Jean-Pierre Jullien, chose to remain and stick it out. We are glad he did and the current proprietors, Isabelle and Vincent Goumard, carry on his legacy.
