Founded in 1988 by Christian Wolffer, Wolffer Estates has become known as one of the finest wine producers on the east coast. The unique Bridgehampton loam soil & moderate Atlantic breezes provide the perfect backdrop for this Long Island winery which has grown internationally as well. Wolffer Estates now has vineyard holdings in Provence, Mallorca, Spain, & the Mendoza in Argentina.

Winemaker Roman Roth chose 10 different varieties for their carefree Hampton summer quaffer. Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Meunier, Cayuga, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Gewurtztraminer, & Semillon were harvested late from different sustainable sites & vinified separately with no extended maceration on the skins. A cool fermentation followed to preserve the wine’s freshness.

Despite the overwhelming number of diverse grapes, the blend harmonizes seemlessly creating a beautifully integrated flavor profile with great balance & a subtle thread of minerality that adds an overall polish to the wine!
