Sparkling 100% Malvasia from Suisun Valley in California, USA.

Onward Wines was founded by winemaker Faith Armstrong who began producing Malvasia Bianca grapes at the Capp Inn Vineyard in 2014. Faith says, “I see these vineyards as treasures. As a winemaker, my goal is to preserve these treasures and share them as wines.”

The Malvasia Bianca is harvested on the early side when the floral & fruity notes are just beginning to express themselves. Fermentation finishes off in the bottle after being capped to capture the big aromatics of a fermentation vat along with yeasty brioche notes.

The wine explodes with citrus, pear, & quince. There’s layers of fruit here with a nice backbone of minerality. Lemongrass & melon rind aromatics round out the thirst quenching finish!
