"Pieropan is located in the Soave Classico appellation in the Veneto region of Italy where the volcanic & calcareous soils provide a distinct crispness and unique lingering minerality to its vineyards.

The wine is made from the region’s premier grape ,Garganega, along with a dollop of Trebbiano di Soave from vineyards aged 6 to 60 years! 

The Pieropan estate embraces local tradition & new winemaking initiatives believing  “the future has an ancient heart.” The grapes are hand harvested, destemmed, & fermented at low temperatures in glass lined concrete tanks.

This isn’t the Soave that many of us tried when we had our first box wine experience! The wine has a soft texture & creamy richness with fresh floral aromatics & hints of marzipan, cherry, pear, & peach dancing over a core of chalky minerality."
