Mother Block Skin Contact is a great value entry point to the world of white grape skin contact wines. Made from the Italian varietals Vermentino, Ansonica, Falanghina, and Pecorino grown at the Mother Block site at Chalmer’s Merbein Vineyard, this unique and diverse location is the site of the family home, Chalmers business headquarters, and the extensive nursery that provides the Italian varietals  for their wines  and millions of vines planted throughout Australia.

The wine pops with aromatics of blood oranges and honey and a kaleidoscope of flavor- lemons and limes, coconut, and mint. The palate has a grippy pulp and texture and zippy refreshing acidity. As with all of their wines the fruit is estate grown and sustainably farmed. The wine is bottled in lightweight glass and the labels are made with 100% recycled materials.
