La Segreta bears the name of the woods surrounding the Planeta family’s Ulmo vineyards where the family has been sourcing their fruit for centuries. The new Planeta label celebrates the power & beauty of the natural world in Sicily. Their absolutely delightful white wine is a blend of 40% Grecanico, 20% Chardonnay, 20% Grillo, & 20% of other varieties that are available from that vintage!

This absolutely delightful wine is pale yellow in color with aromas of peach, apricot, & freshly cut hay. The palette is bursting with Sicilian citrus fruits blending with an invigorating salinity. This vintage was a small harvest but the quality of the grapes were stellar creating a very defined & balanced wine. One of my summer favorites!
