A 100% Pinot Noir sparkling rosé from New Mexico, USA.

Gilbert Gruet, proprietor of a Champagne house in Bethon, France saw New Mexico’s potential for growing Champagne’s grapes. In 1984 he created Gruet Vineyards and the wine world took notice.

Today Gruet’s sparkling wine portfolio has grown and received critical acclaim for its high price/quality ratio.

The Sauvage sparkling rosé is 100% Pinot Noir from grapes grown in New Mexico( near the town of Truth or Consequences!) and some Pinot Noir grown in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA in Washington.

This lively sparkler has zero dosage, a really exuberant mousse, fruit forward strawberry and cherry flavors and aromatics and vibrant acidity.

Gruet is one of my favorite sparkling producers. New world innovation meets old world expertise- what’s not to like!!
