60% Raboso & 40% Pinot Nero Sparkling Rosato from Veneto, Italy.
Cinzia Sommariva was established in Conegliano just north of Venice and located smack dab in the heart of the Prosecco zone. The winery is renowned for crafting artisanal and approachable sparkling wines.
Unlike the popular Glera grape used in Prosecco, their Rosa Spumante (Spumante is a category of Italian sparkling wine from any grape variety) is made up of an aromatic blend of 60% Rabosa and 40% Pinot Nero from 5-15 year old vines grown on steep hillsides facing south giving the grapes an ideal scenario for balanced ripening.
Lively and charming with a tart mouth watering finish, this perfect aperitif is a great way to greet those lazy hazy days of August!
