80% Barbera, 10% Dolcetto, 7% Bonarda, 3% Freisa from Piedmont, Italy.
This charming winery represents the humbler side of the Piedmont region (which is just as satisfying as some of its more recognized locales!). Alessandra Bodda is the winemaker and owner that her family started in 1903 in the idyllic town of Cisterna d’ Asti.
The wine is juicy and joyful- mostly Barbera with a supporting cast of Bonarda, Dolcetto, Freisa, and Croatina from 15 year old vines and aged 10 months in stainless steel.
Light, vibrant, and totally crushable this could easily become your next “go to” house wine!
