"Nightwatch is a bourbon barrel aged cider that is the result of a collaboration with Lost Lantern Whiskey in Vergennes, VT.  If you haven't heard of these folks, I'd highly recommend heading over to their website (or their tasting room!) to explore what these 'independent bottlers' are up to.  The upshot is that absolutely everything they put out there is fantastic.  As for the collaboration, I spent a day early last year with Nora and Ryan, tasting through their offerings and selecting a few barrels for cider aging.  After 3 months in barrel, and almost a year resting in bottle, the outcome is an unapologetically bourbon forward cider that would make any cider purist cringe!  Clocking in at 10.4% abv, it is truly a sipper."
