"This wine comes from fifteen-to-twenty-year-old vines trained using the ancient method of trellising, known as "pergola." Produced from selected parcels of Montepulciano grapes grown in the Chieti province of Abruzzo, on southeast Italy’s Adriatic coast. After a light fining and filtering, the wine is bottled. It offers rich, bright plum and cherries, with a lip-smacking finish."
