100% Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina.
Quintessential contemporary Malbec from 70-year-old vines in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The grapes are hand-harvested from small yields and undergo a double selection process at the winery’s sorting tables. Atamisque uses the best new French oak barrels and ages their Malbec for 14 months.
The wine showcases Malbec’s deep red color. The wine is surprisingly smooth with shades of violets and notes of blackberries, figs, raisins, coffee, and tobacco (in a good way!). The wine is intense, full bodied, and structured, with round and supple tannins and a long lingering finish.
