Already a proficient grower & viticulturalist when he emigrated to Argentina from Parma, Italy in 1888, Angel Furlotti quickly became known as “the king of the vineyards” in Mendoza. By the mid 20th century, his family managed 10 estates encompassing 2000 hectares, among them the premier vineyards in Agrelo, Altamira, Lunlunta, & Vistalba.
Today the Furlotti family preserves the Italian & Argentina heritage of extracting the best out of their old vines. It’s all about balance & allowing power to embrace delicacy.
The wine has a captivating nose of red currants, raspberries, & pomegranate integrating with a peppery spice. The fresh red berry flavors, savory acidity, & plush mouthfeel make for a superb solo quaffer or equally delicious with your favorite creatively prepared protein!
