The legendary Ruffino family has been tending to the steep terraced vineyards above the tiny village of Varigotti in Liguria for over 500 years. The Lumassina grape is a true original – an ethereal, floral, lemony quaffer that’s light & lower in alcohol. Think Vinho Verde from Portugal but with more texture. 

100% Lumassina is a late-ripening grape that’s hand harvested on the treacherous hillside vineyards & goes through a closed vat fermentation that traps the CO2 to create the bubbles (frizzante). The only thing serious about this wine is the labor involved in the vineyards – truly a reflection of sun, sea, passion, & hard work!
