The Quenard family owns 22 hectares along the steep slopes around Chignin in the Savoie area of the French Alps. The 100% Jacquere -- the Savoie’s iconic white grape -- is sourced from their vineyards that are grown on the limestone rubble left from the catastrophic landslide on Mont Granier in 1248! Jacquere is everything you would expect in an alpine wine -- pure, intense, with crackling freshness & a natural CO2  prickle on the palate left from fermentation. There are big aromatics of white fruit, citrus, & acacia flowers pairing seamlessly with orchard fruit and limestone minerality on the palate. The ultimate fondue wine!
