Mercel Wine is located in the Northern Bekaa, an ideal location for grape cultivation with its warm days, cool nights, & limestone rich soils. Eddie Chami, an Australian transplant, presides over this multifaceted winery utilizing indigenous Lebanese grapes & reinterpreting international varietals.

Labnani Abyad, “Lebanese White,” is a blend of 70% Merweh from vines upwards of 150 years old & harvested in October, & 30% Sauvignon Blanc from younger vines in the lower Bekaa Valley harvested in August. The grapes are fermented separately & macerate on the skins for 2-3 weeks. This super accessible skin contact white is fresh & lively with the aromatic peach & guava flavors-a fun & refreshing thirst quenching summer white!
