"Pineau d’Aunis from thirty year old vines. The grapes were fermented as whole bunches for three weeks and spent fifteen months ageing in old barrels. As always, this is made from the first of the variety the family harvested, and as such, it is the most immediate of their reds. From a cool, classic vintage, it pours a gleaming ruby and is taut, neat, and fragrant with wild strawberry and cracked pepper."
