Fable Farms is a 450 acre property located in Barnard, Vermont and conserved by the Vermont Land Trust. This working farm and winery, events venue, and culinary business provides a unique public site for rural culture celebrations.

Jalu, their delicious cider/wine hybrid is comprised of organic apples and Frontenac Blanc, Frontenac Gris, and St. Croix sourced from three different Vermont vineyards. The blend is aged 3 months added to their house cider. Fresh juice from the 2020 harvest is added for a second fermentation in the bottle. This is a fine example of the innovative spirit of fermentation in Vermont!
