Lustig, meaning fun or happy in German, is an excellent value Grüner Veltliner made by Josef and Pia Wurzinger at their winery in Tadten Seewinkel in Burgenland, near the Hungarian border. The estate is located east of Neusiedlersee, and the lake's cooling breezes helps to moderate the area's hot summers. The vines are planted with green cover crops and are farmed without the use of herbicides. The wine is wonderfully aromatic with citrus fruits, peach, herbs and grass.
