100% Rolle (Vermentino) from Provence, France.

Vermentino is one of our favorite outside-the-box varietals. Grown all along the coast of Italy and Sicily, it also thrives on the Mediterranean coast of France where it is known as Rolle. 

Roselyn Gavoty is at the helm of this family-run domaine that’s been operating in Provence since 1806. Rolle thrives in the Triassic limestone soils throughout the domaine and, given the vineyard’s age - planted in 1981 - the domaine produces wines that emphasize the varietals' inherent salinity and textural richness.

Wild sage, fennel, and mint overlay the ripe fruits of mango, white peach, and green apple. Medium bodied and lip-smackingly fresh and vibrant, one of Provence’s great white wines can also develop and blossom in the cellar as well.
