Mount Eden Vineyards is one of California’s original boutique wineries developed in 1945 under the guidance of legendary winemaker Martin Ray in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Chardonnay was propagated at the original Paul Masson vineyard & throughout its history has been dedicated to long growing seasons allowing for slow & steady maturations & intensive flavors. To this day no more than two tons of fruit can be accumulated from each acre of the vineyard, screening the best fruit from the harvest.

Honeysuckle, citrus, & freshly baked bread are all the hallmarks of this legendary winemaker from California. This is the style that captivated so many of us in the 1990’s! Malolactic fermentation converts the malic acids to lactic acids allowing the signature buttery nature to come front and center in the wine.
