100% Sparkling Chardonnay from Arbois-Pupillin (Jura), France.

Mikael Crinquand oversees this 3rd generation domaine located in the center of the village of Pupillin in the heart of the Arbois appellation. All of the domaine’s vineyards are located on extremely steep slopes known as “La Bidode”.

This superb Cremant is made from 100% Chardonnay. Although the vintage is not indicated on the label, it is vintage specific with all the juice sourced from a single harvest. Cremants offer a unique insight into some of France’s wine regions and these interpretations of sparkling wine using the popular varietals from that region can more than hold their own against their more popular northern siblings.

The Jura Blanc has Champagne quality at a fraction of the price -- plush, balanced, gentle honey and green apple notes, and an iron like minerality. 90% of the domaine’s production of wine is sold to private clients so it’s a real treat to have their Cremant available on a limited basis!
