100% Sparkling Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France.

"The fruit used to craft this wine was grown in Molosmes at two vineyards: "Clos Jacquin," planted in 1989 and 1990, and "Les Beauvais," planted in 1994. The soils are clay-limestone and the exposure is south by southwest. The wine is fermented with selected and natural yeasts, and malolactic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. The wines are first aged for the first year in stainless steel tanks, then on lees for sixteen months. (The minimum for Cremant is nine months, the minimum for Champagne is fifteen.) The wine offers notes of biscuit and yeasts as well as raspberries, peach, apricot, yellow watermelon, herbs, citrus and flowers. It has an expressive nose and a sleek finish."
