The Tommaisini family established their winery in 1960 in the Colline Pisane region of Tuscany. The estate provided grapes for other local wineries until 1994 when the decision was made to shift gears and create their own wine.

Chianti is the essence of Tuscany and Sangervassio has created a wine that captures the passion and pleasure of it’s origins. The vineyard is only 22 hectares so there’s a high density of plants per hectare but extremely low yields using only the finest quality grapes.

This wine is 100% Sangiovese fermented in concrete for 6 months and another 4 months in the bottle. Classic Chianti -- aromas and flavors of violets, black cherry, cloves, and soil with an inviting minerality and lingering finish!
