Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier from Champagne, France. Organic.
The Tarlant family can draw a line back to Pierre Tarlant who began wine cultivation in Burgundy in 1687. The family has a long and impactful history - in 1911 Louis Tarlant took part in the so called Champagne Revolution to recognize the Champagne appellation worldwide and expand its prominence and iconic image by producing cuvées exclusively with select Champagne grown grapes.
Benoit and Melanie Tarlant have been running the estate since 1999 and continue their revolutionary practice of eliminating sugar to their final wine preparation after disgorgement. The wine is made up of the three grapes only used in Champagne - Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay.
The holy grail of sparkling wine - orange peel, apples, toast, creamy textures, citrus, and a touch of forest floor. A core of minerality aligns with crackling bright acidity to produce a wine that truly reflects Champagne’s reputation.
