From the brewer: "Foudre aged sour golden ale with local apples. Vermont apples from Dutton Farm compliment our Brattleboro wild mixed culture. 5.2%abv. Brattlebeer ages at least 12 months on Vermont apples, in an oak foudre that has a history dating back to the 1800s. This wild ale is partially inoculated with strains from the orchard in which the apples are harvested, as well as our in house mixed culture strains. The result is a crisp, dry beer, with balanced apple flavor and a champagne like finish. A great choice for white wine and cider lovers, and pairs well with a wide range of savory food and cheeses."
