Domaine George Lignier is led by Benoit Stehly, nephew of George who assumed control of the vineyards & cellar in 2008. Benoit’s approach is very traditional-seeking maximum aromatics & color concentration above all else. A seductive elegance runs through his many tiers of wine adhering to the Burgundy winemaking  tradition & almost religious expression of its terroir.

The wine is made from 66% Pinot Noir & 33% Gamay harvested from fruit sourced at 3 parcels in the Morey-Saint-Denis. Light, fresh, & easy to drink, the wine bursts with earthy notes & bright red fruits.
