Ghislaine Dupeuble is the current proprietor of Domaine de La Prebende & honors her great grandmother Anna Asmaquer for managing the vineyards & overseeing the winemaking back in the day and became the source of inspiration for the estate. The domaine is located at a site where the monks would collect taxes from the villagers (prebende means “tax” in French).

The Gamay is sourced from 29 year old vines & the wine has that lively mineral Beaujolais backbone. The wine is medium bodied with flavors & aromatics of tart cherries mingling with apples, strawberries, & a touch of watermelon!
