"Uncommon for Beaujolais Nouveau, this wine is made with grapes from old vines. The result is an expression of the Gamay grape at its purest. A very 'winey' cuvee - all grape and never chaptalized. Dark purple, well-structured, and ripe on the palate with classic notes of cassis and raspberry. The complexity of this wine is unexpected from Nouveau, making it a rarity that can improve over the winter and be enjoyed right through the following summer."
