Brooks Winery is a remarkable expression of not just wine but community as it sustains the vision of its founder Jimi Brooks. As custodians of Jimi’s legacy for over twenty years, the Brooks family, their winery colleagues and friends in the trade have collaborated in establishing the winery at the forefront of practices that embrace respect for the land and its people. This spectrum includes Demeter certification and adherence to biodynamic principles, low intervention winemaking, contributing to 1% for the Planet, and achieving B Corp certification; all of them daily commitments by the winery.
Recognizing how welcoming Oregon is to Alsatian varieties, the Amycas White is a cuvée of Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer that were pressed straight from harvest, naturally fermented in stainless steel and blended to present a range of stone fruit and citrus that’s spiced with ginger and peach syrup. The result is a beautifully expressive, balanced, and dry wine epitomizing the Brooks style.
