We can’t imagine a more cozy winter evening than one in our candle lit Tasting Room
enjoying warming French comfort food paired with amazing French wines.

Josh Turka, of 5th Quarter Butcher Shop, will make his third appearance in The Tasting
Room on February 9th, serving up Parisian style ham, a 60-minute egg, and cassoulet,
followed by a Galette de Rois by Goose Chase Cake Design for dessert. The Local’s
own Sarah Nagle will be presenting an incredible French wine with each course.

Not to boast, but we think this event might just be the epitome of the French expression
“joie de vivre.”

Before moving to Vermont, Josh worked for more than ten years in Boston area
restaurants and butcheries. Here in the Valley, he specializes in whole animal butchery
and charcuterie, and works exclusively with Vermont farmers. And our amazing general
manager, Sarah, has worked in the wine industry for years. She’s passionate about
sharing her knowledge with customers and helping them find their new favorite bottle.
