100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Austria.

Tradition meets modern innovation and making great wine is a way of life at Steininger. The winery is located  in the town of Langenlois in the Kamptal region of Austria. One of only two wineries that bottle Cabernet Sauvignon in Austria, their rose philosophy is to use only fully ripened grapes to achieve the greatest expression and character.

The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and the grapes are crushed lightly, left on the skins for about 12 hours and gently pressed.

A delicious and delicate weave of berries, cherries, and raspberries, along with a vibrant well-integrated acidity, showcases the potential of Cabernet Sauvignon as a rose wine. On the palate there’s a hint of juicy lime and a touch of rhubarb along with that precise and clean structure.  This is rose at its finest!
