A blend of Pinot Grigio & Sauvignon Blanc from Friuli, Italy.
Close to the Slovenian border in Friuli, three generations of the Bastiani family from the village of Collio have been cultivating Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc on 18 hectares on the side of Mount Quarin.
Winemaker Nicola Brasi blends these grapes after 90 days of skin contact to extract fragrance and liveliness along with structure and the true essence of their orange wines.
There’s a savory and nutty interplay with citrus, apricot, tea, and cashew flavors and aromas.
