"1989 and 1990 were both stellar vintages for the outstanding Lynch-Bages estate. While much of the 1855 Classification holds true today, Lynch-Bages is one anomaly that out-performs its classification every year, and in 1989, this Château produced a wine that might be the best wine in the appellation. Already long-lived, it is definitely not done. Drinking beautifully now or any time in the next 5 years." - Master Sommelier David Keck
